02 Sep Meaghan & Lesley’s Rathsallagh Wedding
A wedding that we will remember for a long time to come… Meaghan and Lesley’s wedding was the last big wedding we worked on before the lockdown came into effect in March 2020. We wish this truly amazing couple a lifetime of happiness together and hope that they continue to be blessed with good luck throughout their married life together.
When we met Meaghan and Lesley to discuss flowers and floral decor for their wedding day we knew exactly what we needed to do to bring their vision for their ceremony to life. We agreed that a rustic colour scheme of dusty pink, sage green, classic bridal white would be perfect for their big day. We used pheasant feathers and a statement King Protea flower (a highly unusual flower and only in season for a couple of months of the year, so we were delighted to be able to get it for their decor) through Meaghan’s bouquet and on their fab floral arch, to add something different to the floral elements, and wow did it look amazing!
Meaghan dreamed of having a lot of floral detail for her marriage ceremony with Lesley, in Rathsallagh House Hotel, so we designed the most amazing floral arch to lead their wedding guests into the ceremony room. We placed a bicycle with floral arrangements at the entrance to add a fun element to the ceremony decor. When the guests arrived inside we used silver storm lanterns leading all the way up the aisle with low flickering candle light to set a romantic atmosphere before Meaghan and Lesley exchanged their vows.
The flowers and vibrant colours of the flowers made this ceremony a stand out event and we’re so happy that we got this one over the line before the lockdown! We’ve put together a few images below from Meaghan & Lesleys wedding day, by the amazing Art Wedding Photography below.
